Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The worldbuilding is absolutely amazing, really, i could believe this world exists. Character wise, all is good, nobody is totally OOC just to make way for the romance – which is almost non existant in this book, its total scene setting, but works so well in this case.
There are few scenes along the way that really irked me, one in particular, but the rest of the plotting is excellent.
The ‘Oirish’ (Hollywood Movie/TV Irish pronunciation) is utterly dire, especially written out. I didnt know if i should find it amusing or offensive, but it gets dropped pretty quickly into it – either that or i just stopped noticing
Moving onto Bloodfever now, and hoping the worldbuilding continues!
